Privacy Policy
Last updated 28 June 2026.
Zeus Design (“we”, “us”, “our”), which operates Electronics Design AU, is committed to providing quality services to you and this policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your personal information.
We have adopted the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Privacy Act). The APPs govern the way we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of your personal information. A copy of the Australian Privacy Principles may be obtained from the website of the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
What is personal information and why do we collect it?
Personal information is information or an opinion that identifies an individual. Examples of personal information we may collect include names, email addresses, and the details of any enquiry you send us.
Electronics Design AU does not have user accounts and does not run a contact form. In practice, the personal information we hold is limited to what you choose to send us by email — typically your name, email address, and project details — when you contact us, plus standard web server logs (such as IP address and browser/device information) generated automatically by visiting the site.
We collect this information for the primary purpose of responding to your enquiry and providing our services to you. We do not use it for unrelated secondary purposes, we do not currently send marketing communications, and we do not sell or share your personal information with third parties.
Sensitive information
Sensitive information is defined in the Privacy Act to include information such as an individual's racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union membership, criminal record, or health information. We do not intentionally collect sensitive information, and we ask that you avoid including it in any enquiry you send us. If sensitive information is provided to us, we will only use it for the primary purpose for which it was given, a directly related secondary purpose, with your consent, or where required or authorised by law.
Third parties
We collect your personal information directly from you. Where reasonable and practicable, we do not obtain it from third parties.
Disclosure of personal information
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties. It may be disclosed in limited circumstances, including to service providers who host or operate this site or process email on our behalf (and only to the extent needed to provide that service), where you consent to the disclosure, or where required or authorised by law.
Ahrefs Analytics is configured to help us understand aggregate site usage and improve the knowledge base. It is used for site analytics only, not advertising. Google Analytics may also be enabled if a production measurement ID is configured.
Security of personal information
Your personal information is stored in a manner that reasonably protects it from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. We retain enquiry correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to respond to and resolve it, after which we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
Access to your personal information
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask that it be updated or corrected, subject to certain exceptions. We will not charge a fee for an access request, but may charge a reasonable administrative fee for providing a copy of your personal information. We may require proof of identity before releasing it.
Maintaining the quality of your personal information
It is important to us that your personal information is accurate, complete, and up to date. If you find that information we hold about you is incorrect or outdated, please let us know so we can update our records.

This policy may change from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
